ÍCON Design presented five pieces from its conceptual collection during Fuorisalone 2026, one of the most important events of Milan Design Week. The launch was promoted by Tropicalistic Milano inside a dedicated space located in the Brera Design District, an area internationally recognized for bringing together some of the most innovative and experimental design exhibitions during the event.
The collection represents the result of a long creative process developed over five years inside the ÍCON studio in São Paulo. Throughout this period, the team explored concepts, forms, materials, and visual languages inspired by the intersection between contemporary furniture, sci-fi aesthetics, and concept art. The final pieces translate the studio’s vision into objects that combine emotion, functionality, and strong visual identity.
All development stages, including sketches, prototypes, technical studies, and final models, were produced during an intensive eight-month period leading up to the exhibition. The conceptual line incorporates many of the design values and criteria that ÍCON brings from the automotive industry, especially the attention to proportions, surfaces, detailing, innovation, and emotional impact through form language.
The collection also stands out for its material diversity and production approach. The pieces were developed using composites, wood, and natural stones, creating a balance between futuristic aesthetics and organic textures. In addition, the project combined handcrafted techniques with advanced digital development processes and machining technologies, merging artisanal work with precision manufacturing methods.
More than a product launch, the presentation during Fuorisalone 2026 marked an important milestone for ÍCON Design’s international presence. The exhibition reinforced the studio’s commitment to experimental design, innovation, and creative storytelling, while positioning the brand within one of the world’s most influential contemporary design environments.
